She is very knowledgeable on the working of the human brain and how medications work, as-well as having many strategies that work well for most people. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience as it felt like every session something had gone wrong. Either I was unable to get my medications to my pharmacy and had to wait weeks to get my medication due to the psychiatrist being on vacation, difficulty reaching out after there was a issue has been a reoccurring and serious problem. Also the overly complicated portal system had been making it difficult for me or I assume anyone with ADHD and executive functioning issues. I have spoken or tried to talk about these issues with her but often times when I attempt to talk about these issues there was no time left in meetings after being told about how the medications work until the meeting time was up. Its been extremely difficult for me to reach out to her and she seems to be busy all the time and i feel bad for burdening her. But I think if you have ADHD or have trouble with organization it might not be the best option for you. Its been trouble for me since day one and i haven't had any issues like this with any other psychiatrist. For me there were a few other smaller issues but i think the main issue was the lack of being able to communicate. After a meeting ended there was no way to be able to communicate through the portal or text or email it was always someone else responding to me. I just hope my next psychiatrist is able to accommodate me better. Again if you dont have issues with organization and you are doing everything correctly or dont have issues with navigating the portal, she should be a very good psychiatrist for most people. Unfortunately i did not have a good experience i wish i could say otherwise.
