Do not go here. The couples therapist we saw sided with my partner. Telling me I need to get over everything he's done to me. She has now created a new justification for him every time I'm having a difficult day. His new response is to tell me the therapist said I need to "get over the past". It has caused many fights and did the total opposite of helping him to have accountability, consideration, or respect for the person he hurt. Hes supposed to help me through it, not be taught to shut me down, silence me and act like I have no right to difficult days. That I dont deserve his support because its annoying to him. It's created so much upheaval, I'd like an apology from the therapist and clarification to my partner that is not what she meant. She should be ashamed of herself for the unprofessionalism. I was unhappy as soon as we had the first appointment. I decided to give her one more chance. Wow, a chance for Manipulation a second time.
