Before Brain Balance my son would have melt downs over small things (being asked to get off electronics, changes in schedules, even being asked how was your day would set him off, and regulating his emotions). We tried counseling and medicine but were not seeing the results we wanted. We felt like we were constantly walking on egg shells waiting for a huge explosion. We heard about Brain Balance and were skeptical. However, after the first month we started seeing changes. We noticed his outburst intensity started to lessen, after two months he started making more eye contact when his family and others would talk to him. The staff is phenomenal and always there to answer questions. They provide all resources and training for parents at home. I was quick to come to them with concerns when I noticed my son's progress started to plateau. They were quick to reassess his data and met to conduct a review. After meeting with the staff we decided to switch my son's brain workouts and within the next month we noticed positive changes. After switching his brain exercises we noticed he started to slow down and paused when asked to do something. We could tell he was processing what was being asked of him. Before he wouldn't talk about his feelings or emotions and is now telling us when he is starting to become nervous when his schedule changes or we are going to be around large crowds. This helps us with planning for outings and events. He also stated he feels that his brain is starting to slow down. I am so thankful for our Brain Balance family and am so glad we took the leap of faith and reached out. It has been the greatest thing for our son and our family.

My son who would not eat vegetables before brain balance. After 4 sessions he tried broccoli, salad, and asparagus. He now declares “I love asparagus!” I am looking forward to seeing what other things improve for him. Thank you Brain Balance.
