The past few years have been so overwhelming. So much change and difficulty. Socially, financially, romantically, health wise… it’s been a lot to navigate. But I am so grateful for finding Dr Mercado, she’s been such a valuable asset and source of growth and support for me. As a therapist she has been a non-judgemental and active listener, hearing me, seeing me, and offering genuine insight and a practical, lived-experience human approach to therapy. And she’s a fellow native New Yorker too! In the past it’s been difficult to find a therapist who feels right for me. Someone who has the perception that felt like they understood where I was coming from and how I deal with my issues.
