The staff are kind and friendly. My therapist is very compassionate and understanding of me and OCD.

Every time I have an appointment with Dr. Measom I feel I’m inconveniencing him. The first time I met with him he paused our session so he could bid on a hot wheel car in an online auction. He also asked what I am going to say to him once he “fixes” me. Most recently I met with him to address my sleep apnea so I could get a sign off the DMV now requires. He asked rudely, in my opinion at least, why I came to him. He also asked “why do I need to drive?” To which I replied “because I’m a business owner in my early 30’s and in the prime of my working years.” I interpret him as being condescending and aloof, and more concerned with receiving praise than anything else. Ultimately I’m the only one responsible for my feelings and emotions, but I always leave feeling like I am abnormal and broken. I’m writing this prior to having my medications refilled and getting the sign off I need, so hopefully this doesn’t affect that. It’s for these reasons I won’t be seeing him again.
