I've dealt with a number of mental health issues for so many years and have seen so many providers as I've moved across the country and changed insurances. I was nervous to start with someone new but saw the good reviews here and took a chance. The website is frustrating in that you can't access anything without the bot pop up and there were formatting issues that made my brain hurt. But if you can get past the new patient paperwork, I highly, HIGHLY recommend this practice and Greg Tallent in particular. I've probably seen over 15 psychiatrists in my life and Greg is at the top of the list. I felt so incredibly heard during my first session with him. He took the time to ask questions about me and my backstory and wanted to know medications I've tried in the past. He genuinely seemed to care and to want to connect. For that, I am so thankful. But even beyond that, he listened to my needs regarding the medications that I do want to continue and my goals for discontinuing some. He wasn't like a traditional psychiatrist that just wants to keep pushing more and more meds. He listened to my concerns and seemed to genuinely be in agreement about my plans going forward. I'm so incredibly grateful to have found this place. The one and only downside was that the first appointment took 2 hours, which I was not expecting at all so I missed another appointment afterwards. So just plan ahead for a potentially extended first visit and you won't regret it. Thank you Certus!

Actual best practice I’ve been to in my 24 years of existence. Dr. Tallent definitely has the talent of connecting with patients and working in the best interests of said patients. First meeting with him, he told me “my goal is to get you to a place where you feel better.” I had NEVER had any psych medication management doctor in my LIFE tell me that personally. Obviously sealed the deal. Reach out about an appointment here—everyone (and I mean everyone) on staff is a joy and pleasure to interact with!
