Family Care Center Therapy & Psychiatry - Colorado Springs

HORRIBLE BUSINESS. I went to ONE appointment with them in September. The therapist was awful and unhelpful. I was very clear that I did not want to return, and I never did return. Come January they decided to charge my card for $220. They won't answer any of my phone calls. It always goes to voicemail. I finally got ahold of an employee and they told me they would pass along my issue to management. They assured me that management would reach out to me. It's been almost a week now. I have been calling every day and still I cannot reach anybody regarding the money that they outright stole from my account. DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

I personally had my own fears and reservations about therapy before finding Family Care Center. I was signed up to meet with my current therapist Shellie Lasiter-Read around the end of september. She is genuinely an amazing person. I feel so lucky to have met her and to have the pleasure of being one of her patients. Trusting her by practicing the coping mechanisms and thought patterns she has taught me has genuinely made such a large impact on my life. I am truly blessed to have found such a great organization and therapist to handle my mental health care and I would advise if looking for a therapist to reach out to them!!!
