I became a new patient in March 25. Choosing Mrs. Monday for my mental health care has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my overall well-being. Was unfortunately referred by my PCP for my ADHD medication that I was already on. In my appointment, I was told I needed to do ADHD testing. ??? How else was I on ADHD medication for my diagnosed ADHD?? Then she asked if I had tried natural remedies for ADHD and said they don't want me on the medication I was already on because it's too addictive even though I've had no issues with it. They suggested a more natural medication. Then I asked about hormone testing and they said the wouldn't do that and don't ever do hormone testing, even though 80% of women are estimated to have hormone imbalances which are known to cause depression and anxiety so it seems like they just aren't doing their job. I was also told this was an in network referral and wasn't told it would cost any more than the copay but got a $200 bill out of nowhere. Trainwreck.
