Be very careful with this practice. I discovered that for years my Psychiatrist, Dr. Ferhad Ahmad, was billing my insurance for "psychotherapy" and 60 to 90 minute appointments when I was only having brief 10-15-minute medication checks. I requested my records and found they contained generic text about "extensive therapy" that never happened. The office refused to correct the records or explain why they were billing for time that wasn't spent. Check your EOBs closely.

I would highly recommend the team at LGTC to anyone who is looking for relief from the often dark and difficult battle against the afflictions of mental health. For me, Deborah Johnson’s expert care, plus the caring support from the entire LGTC team, put me on a path toward healing and hope that I hadn’t felt in years. Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. It’ll definitely be worth it!
