~Bio-Neurofeedback Brain Training for the win!~ We found Dr. C and Dr. V after months and months of diligent research. The waitlist to be seen by Dr. C was much shorter than most for other doctors and to say she is well worth the wait is an understatement! I think we can all agree that our families are the most important thing and finding a care team that feels the same about the mental and emotional health of our families is priceless. The level of expertise, professionalism, compassion, and genuine love that my family receives from the doctors at MindWorks is like nothing I have ever experienced. Following an in depth day of diagnostic testing and follow up care with Dr. C, therapy sessions were set up with Dr. V. After getting to know her patient well over the course of their appointments, Dr. V recommended something I was unfamiliar with called Bio-Neurofeedback Brain Training. I will admit to being skeptical of the process and the efficacy of the sessions, but after completing them I can say with enthusiasm and confidence that it worked for us! Prior to the neurofeedback sessions we were dealing with physical and often violent outbursts on a daily basis, screaming matches, self harm, and crippling anxiety that prevented decision making. Now that we have completed the sessions I cannot remember the last time there was a violent meltdown, screaming feels like a thing of the past, and the anxiety no longer causes a negative response to making decisions. This has truly been life changing for my entire family in ways I did not know were possible. Thank you so much Dr. V, and Dr. C, from my whole family!

If you are considering going here, do it!! Dr. Carmichael is absolutely amazing. I have struggled for years trying to get someone to listen to me when advocating for my daughter. Since she was 2 years old! But because she “made eye contact” and “responded to her name” they turned me away. There’s a lot of Drs out there that aren’t educated enough on autism and what it looks like in girls/women. Stacy is a gem. She understands autism/neurodivergence especially in girls/women and she is well EDUCATED (check her website) She is so helpful and we can’t recommend her enough. I will likely be back for myself next time. We finally got our daughter her diagnosis and we seriously can’t thank you enough. THANK YOU x100000000000000 ♥️
