After struggling with emetophobia for 20 years I finally threw in the towel and decided to try exposure therapy. My work with Dr. Ori Shinar began with a free 15 minute consultation after which I was immediately overwhelmed with hope and confidence that I could overcome my debilitating phobia. I worked with Dr. Shinar for 8 months. It was not easy, but he never pushed me past anything I wasn’t ready for. During our work together I felt understood and heard. I am so grateful that I can live life without this looming anxiety and it is all thanks to Dr. Shinar for accompanying me on this difficult but fulfilling journey. He did not tell me to write any of this. If you are struggling with a phobia I promise you, exposure therapy will be the best thing you have ever done for yourself. Not every practitioner is right for everyone but I highly reccomend Dr. Shinar as he was kind, patient, and motivating. Thank you Dr. Ori Shinar!

Our experience with Dr. Ori has been exceptional. We are beyond proud of the progress that our daughter has made within months of sessions with Dr. Ori. He was so helpful with finding ways to get some insurance coverage since he does not accept any. He always responds quickly and is very reliable. He is such a great doctor and we are so glad we found him to help with our daughter’s trichotillomania.
