Things used to be a lot harder for my son on the Autism Spectrum. I struggled watching him struggle with so many every day things Before he went through the Neurofeedback treatment, he really struggled with emotional regulation, lots of big feelings he couldn't really control or cope well with, and he was anxious over pretty much everything every single day. He had been through years of occupational therapy, speech therapy, feeding therapy and I had been through just as many years of talk therapy and CBT. When we found this option, I was skeptical, if I'm being honest. I didn't really understand how "brain training" worked or if it was going to be something my son could even tolerate with his sensory sensitivities, but I knew I had to try. Thankfully, Jennifer explained how everything worked, made my son feel comfortable and excited about the Science behind his brain, and she made me hopeful. My son did so well with the entire process and after just a couple of weeks of regular treatment, he could tell a difference and I could absolutely SEE a difference in him. Then, after a few months, it was light a lightbulb switched on and he just started exploring so much more and he was less anxious. He was more communicative and less fearful of new things. He started trying new foods all the time and his confidence really soared. It was all because he was better able to process the world around him and THAT was all thanks to Neurofeedback. I couldn't be more grateful and my son loves to tell his friends about his "brain training."
