I have seen Melinda four times and every time I feel we are making progress. Her professionalism and genuine understanding and caring makes it easy to share information and assess best methods of dealing with my issues. I always look forward to our appointments.

I was seeking ADHD treatment without insurance. I called to ask about pricing and what to expect and it sounded very straight forward and reasonable. My experience was awful. I waited 7 weeks for my appointment, got a call a few days before the appointment to confirm, I confirmed, then was sent texts for my confirmation and then a few hours later sent sext saying my appointment was canceled because I didn't respond even though there was no further contact to respond to. I had to reschedule then on the day of the appointment they were unable to let me check in because they needed my insurance information after I had already repeatedly told them I was self pay and had literally already paid the bill for self pay in full. I was early for my appointment but because they couldn't figure out how to check me I was a few minutes late and they just absolutely could not allow me to keep the appointment, I waited 7 weeks, paid three days early and arrived 20 min early but I could not keep my appointment. I had to reschedule but then at my next appointment they tried charging me $50 for a cancellation fee but eventually dropped it after I refused and explained profusely. I waited an entire hour past my appointment time to see the doctor at the rescheduled appointment. They originally gave me one price for ADHD screening but failed to mention that a screening also requires an online test, plus a urinalysis and a blood test, plus follow-ups to each of those things so in reality it costs nearly quadruple what they originally quote. They bluntly gave me all these reasons why all these things costs so much money like I'm just supposed to know these things. If I knew how the pricing worked I wouldn't have asked questions. They made me feel like an idiot for not knowing that a $260 ADHD screening only includes talking to a doctor for 20 minutes. To receive treatment you need another $700 worth of tests and appointments, which would maybe be fine if they could figure out a way to communicate that to people. It's very dishonest and inconsiderate and seems intentional that they can't be forthcoming about that when people are asking about pricing. And the lack of empathy and understanding they display is disgusting. I guess everyone who works here makes enough money that they can just spend $700 on a whim. They're all so well off they don't even understand how a person would need prior notice before spending $700. Which is insane because if they were paid that well you would think they would know how to simply check people in for appointments. This place is a train wreck.
