I starred seeing Dr. Rachael Silverman back in 2019 to get help with undiagnosed anxiety and depression. She is beyond compassionate, patient, responsive, and highly skilled. I felt supported, understood, and confident in the care I received. It was a great experience and I’m beyond grateful for her guidance and expertise. I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a psychologist.

Working with Dr. Rachael has been life changing for our family. Our daughter went from daily anxiety and meltdowns to using real coping skills and feeling confident again. Dr. Rachael is warm, direct, and truly understands children and family dynamics. From day one she made us feel heard and safe, and she has a clear framework for helping the entire family not just our daughter. She quickly established goals that were realistic (no fluff), and she met with us with and without our daughter to teach us the tools and review progress. We were appropriately included in all the work never feeling out of the loop while also ensuring my daughter never felt like we were intruding or her privacy was violated. Our daughter came into therapy with anxiety, homework avoidance, meltdowns in the evening, and a lot of distrust toward us (her parents) about anything ‘school’ or ‘therapy’. Within a few sessions she began using the coping-skills we practiced together! Dr. Rachael immediately sets clear goals and boundaries, and gives practical, structured tools that actually work at home and school, which we as overwhelmed parents very much appreciated! She has genuine warmth and empathy, but also will call you out kindly when needed (and we needed that). She isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” therapist; she tailored the interventions to our child. We’ve seen a huge improvement in our child’s mood, schoolwork, and our overall family harmony. We are so grateful and recommend Dr. Rachael without reservation for families who want real, measurable change without hesitation!
