Kudos to Dr. Whelan and team. By far the best psychiatric care experience I’ve ever had. I don’t feel like just “another patient.” Very personal and always walk out feeling valued individually.

When I first started to see Dr. Whelan he was somewhat friendly, less knowledgeable than my last doctor, but good enough. Over the course of the year something changed and he became judgmental and now he talks down to me and makes me feel bad about myself. I tried to explain to him what I was feeling but he took it personally. He totally dismissed my feelings by saying: “I don’t have a problem with how I do things so the problem is with you”. I didn’t have a problem with any of the other staff at Lifestance, they were nice.
