This review has been posted anonymously. Since this is a mental health clinic, I personally didn't want it revealed who I was to the public. I would have done so regardless if it was positive or negative. Overall, I can not say if I would recommend this place for any one person because clinicians and mental health clinics are a personal choice. What works for some may not work for others. However, I would say my overall experience was not a positive one. I initially started there as an individual seeking care for adhd/autism. As time went on there was more to the picture for my diagnosis. I have come to an understanding that Brooke kept me on too long for my good. Although she did send me on when the realization I needed different care occurred, the way this was handled was very poor. I can honestly say this as a few years has moved on. I have healed and bitterness is no longer there. However, the way this was handled was confusing, disorganized, and caused a lot of grief and a decline in my own mental health for a time. In addition to how my care was transitioned from one counselor to another, I do not believe I can recommend her as a marriage counselor. After I had been there for over a year, we decided to bring in my spouse for marriage. There was no way at the time for her to know how this would go down but it ended up being a major conflict of interest. She already had me as a patient and to take my spouse on as a client and marriage counseling really should not have happened. As the client I didn't know better, as the therapist I hope she learned that this in general is not recommended. This is because marriages are extremely complex. They are both individual and a union of two people. She did understand how to help the individual, however she did not handle the union. The dynamic that was created between my spouse and I only worsened under her care. Eventually, I was under a different counselor and then my spouse later followed to their own counselor. Things did not get better until we removed ourselves completely from her care. Her heart was good, her skills were not when it comes to marriage. My spouse and I are doing well now, and again not her "fault" but her help was not helpful. I would say this with any counselor, when looking for one do not just jump in. Do your research, ask questions. The first one may seem like a good fit but go slow so that you know. If something doesn't agree with you be open. Counselors are humans and they will make mistakes. You need to advocate for your self, do your own research on your diagnosis if you get one. If you need marriage counseling go to separate counselors and a separate marriage. Some may not need that but as a whole marriage is complicated and each needs their own private space and then an unbiased marriage. Some counselors may disagree but as a whole I have come to learn that it is not the norm for a couple to have one counselor for all of it. With marriage counseling, make sure the counselor lines up with your values. If the counselor is more relaxed on if divorce happens or not that can bleed into the marriage and cause further separation that may not have happened/ I write this review so that others can have a full balanced picture of experiences within this clinic and specifically Brooke's care since she is the one who counseled me. Your experience may be good just makes sure its the right clinic/clinician for you.

Brooke has a gift to meet others where they are, and offers such compassion, wisdom, and hope. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and has a steady presence that makes her space feel so safe. I always leave feeling seen, heard, and understood! Can’t recommend her and this clinic enough 💛
