I have been battling depression, anxiety, and substance abuse for years and have seen multiple therapists, counselors, and other medical professionals. It was not until I found PPA in 2018 that I was able to manage my mental health and overcome my addiction. I am grateful to have finally found a great therapist who I trust and who genuinely cares about me and my well-being. Their holistic approach has made a world of difference in my life.

Lauren Heaton has been the most professional therapist I’ve ever come across. She accommodates to my busy schedule. In an emergent situation she has stayed late to accommodate. She does both in person and telehealth to ensure her clients have access to the best care possible. This woman is constantly educating herself, taking classes, reading articles to find ways to help her clients. There are no hidden agendas or a false sense of sincerity when it comes to any matters you discuss. The therapy revolves around the client not the therapist. She makes it clear on day one that communication is important regarding what you feel helps or does not help your healing process. When it comes to ethics, very rarely will you come across somebody that takes their confidentiality as serious as she does. She’s very open minded and easy to talk to. I knew of the practice for a few years prior to coming, but now I understand why the practice is so successful. I highly recommend this practice to anybody who is seeking help from well educated professionals. Their number one priority is to get you help.
